$100 - $75, Top U1500 $50, Top U1000 $25. Medals for the top 3 girls 11 years old and younger. Book prizes for the top 3 puzzle-solvers. Medal and a book prize for the top 1 unrated player Chess accessories for the first 15 to register.

Puzzle-solving contest at 2:30 pm. Free pizza at 3:00 pm. Rapid: 1st round at 3:30 pm

Description

Girls and Women Only Event

Start the afternoon off with a puzzle-solving contest at 2:30pm.

After a pizza lunch, play in the rapid tournament starting at 3:30pm.This is the Boston Queens Series #1 event! Places 1 - 10 earn series points: 10 points for 1st place, 9 points for 2nd… 1 point for 10th. Those who score the most points throughout all 6 events will get prizes

Rapid tournament: not USCF rated, so USCF membership not required

Free entry to GMs, IMs, WGMs, WIMs, and unrated (players that have none of the following: USCF regular/rapid/blitz rating, FIDE regular/rapid/blitz rating).
