Description

This event is intended exclusively for women players of all ages.

The Boylston Chess Club is proud to host an event to honor the memory of Katharine Gasser, a longtime member of the New England Chess community and the 1963 US Women's Open Champion.

The event will open with a few remarks about Kate's personality and legacy from friends and family before the start of the first round.

Players must be rated at least 1200 to play in the Open section (either August or September supplements or live rating).
