Description: Join us for our first Duck Chess tournament! This is not USCF rated and no USCF membership is required to play. Ratings will only be used as estimates for pairings. Time control will be G/5 d5, with 6 rounds in one section.

Duck chess is a variant in which a rubber duck (provided at the club) is placed on the board. Each player is obligated to move the duck to finish their turn, and no pieces can pass through the duck. It acts as a brick. The game ends via king capture, not checkmate. Please see the Duck Chess explanation page for more details.
