Free. Full-time College students only.

Prizes

Trophies are given to the individual players with the most points for each section. School teams consist of the top 4 players from the same school, and plaques are given to the school teams with the most points in each section.

Registration

Online up to 10:30am day of play. Onsite 10:30am - 10:45 am

Round Times

11:00am, 2:00pm, and 4:30pm

Description

College students battle in an over-the-board league for the title of best in collegiate play. College students in any state can participate. Play is unrated. No membership required in Boylston Chess Club, Massachusetts Chess Association, or the US Chess Federation.

New players welcomed and can join at the start of any round, as room occupancy permits. Players must be able to record moves on paper or use an electronic chess move recorder provided by the tournament (if available).

REGISTER FOR EACH MEET SEPARATELY 2/5, 3/5, and 4/2.

PUT THE NAME OF YOUR SCHOOL IN THE "Other Information" FIELD WHEN YOU REGISTER.

Any player that is not present at the start of a round forfeits the game unless a 0 point bye was requested by the prior day.
